General Ledger Accountant

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures accuracy, validity, and completeness of general ledgers through accounts reconciliation and review of supporting accounting schedules
• Ensures compliance with generally-accepted accounting principles and applicable accounting standards
• Reviews and validates accuracy and reliability of account balances, in alignment with financial reporting requirements 
• Prepares financial statements (profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flows, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Management Accounting
• Must be a Certified Bookkeeper
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant, and/or with certifications in relation to accounting, finance, and risks & controls
• Must be with at least three (3) years of intensive work experience in accounting and finance
• Well-versed in using Excel and ERP Systems; with expertise in bookkeeping and accounting
